App not syncing with bracelet

I just went for a run and the heart rate section hasnt updated at all. Peak exercise, cardio, etc says 0. It tracks steps ok but thats it. I only got this for the heart rate monitor and would have stuck with my Fitbit if I knew the app didnt work.
